Submission

The submission deadline was February 23, 2024. The program committee will notify authors about their decisions at the beginning of April.

Registration and Fees

Please register for the conference at https://editorialexpress.com/conference/emuea2024/. Presenters should register using the same username as when they submitted.

Deadlines: Presenters must register by April 12 to be included in the program. Registration for non-presenting attendees closes May 28.

Fees: The registration fees for the conference are:

Cancellation policy: Registrants who cancel their in-person registration prior to May 17 must pay a cancellation charge of 50% (plus transfer and currency conversion). Registrations cannot be cancelled after May 17.

Travel to Denmark

Participants who need a visa to travel to Denmark should apply as soon as possible. This Government of Denmark webpage provides further information on Denmark's entry and visa requirements. Further information is given at this webpage.

Parallel sessions will take place at Aalborg University in Copenhagen. For guidance to the entrance, see the floorplan. For guidance at the venue, download the AAU MAP smartphone app.

Keynote lectures will take place at Scandic Hotels, which is 0.3 miles from campus (directions for 8-minute walk).

Transportation

Aalborg University is well connected to the public transport network. To plan your journey, visit Transport in Denmark . The train station closest to conference venue is “Sydhavn station” (500 meters). When arriving at “Copenhagen airport” the easiest way to Aalborg University is with the metro to “Nørreport station” and then with the s-train to Sydhavn station. There are also taxis available at the airport.

Parallel Sessions and Loading Slides

In parallel sessions, 20-minute presentations are followed by a 5-minute discussion and 5 minutes for audience questions and comments. Presenters should be in the room 15 minutes before the session starts. Each room is equipped with a projector. Session chairs are responsible for bringing a laptop and loading the presentations for their session on their laptop. Presenters must transfer their PDF or PPT file to the chair's computer by email, download, or USB stick.

Student Prize Sessions

Two sessions on Friday morning will feature the finalists of the student prize competition. The winner(s) of the student prize will be announced during the conference.

Reception and Catering

Lunch, snacks and coffee/tea will be provided both Friday and Saturday at the conference venue.

Friday breakfast will be provided in the canteen at the conference venue Aalborg University. The canteen area is on the 1st floor. Saturday breakfast will be provided at Scandic hotel Sydhavnen.

For WiFi, use eduroam.

Accommodation

There are many hotels nearby. We have not arranged conference rates at any hotel. Hotel comparison websites such as Booking.com provide many more options for a wide range of budgets.
