Call for Papers

7th European Meeting of the Urban Economics Association

At the Kraks Fond - Institute for Urban Economic Research

The Urban Economics Association (UEA) invites the submission of high quality papers dealing with the economics of cities, housing, real state, local public good provision, and the distribution of economic activity in space. The Urban Economics Association seeks to promote participation and excellence in academic research in urban and regional economics.

The 2017 meeting in Copenhagen is the first independent meeting of the Urban Economics Association and will be hosted by the Kraks Fond - Institute for Urban Economic Research. Confirmed participants of the meeting in addition to program committee and keynote speakers include Kristian Behrens (UQAM Montreal), Pierre-Philippe Combes (Lyon and Sciences Po), Gilles Duranton (Wharton), Laurent Gobillon (PSE), Frédéric Robert-Nicould (Lausanne), Henry Overman (LSE), Kurt Schmidheiny (Basel) and Will Strange (Rotman Toronto). Submission: Please submit a paper or extended abstract in pdf format through the online submission form at https://editorialexpress.com/conference/EMUEA2017.

Potential presenters are requested to submit only one paper each. We do accept the submission of extended abstracts. However, all else equal, preference will be given to completed papers. You will be notified by February 1, 2017 whether your paper is accepted.

Submission Deadline: January 15, 2017.
